Named WW2 US Army Surgeon's Uniform
Item #62 - Beautiful M1938 US Army dress blue jacket and matching trousers dated in the late 1930's to Colonel Francis P. Kintz, who commanded the 68th Medical Group in Europe during WWII. Lots of references to his work and research are available online. Uniform has sewn on bullion Colonel shoulder boards and cuff branch stripes. The sew on ribbon bar and US devices (early WWII vintage), and paper were found in the pocket. The US's have been placed back on and the ribbon bar has been rested on the jacket for the photo (it is not attached). Good overall condition with some wrinkles. More articles about him found online which I have included photos of. The one that was found in the pocket is a hard copy.
Jacket is of a medium size. Wonderful documented piece! Price: $295
