The collecting of antique guns is a very broad area and firearm collectors can find a nice selection of various types of guns from different time periods on this site. As a collector, my primary interest pertains to United States primary longarms such as the garand and the M1861 rifle, and hanguns such as the Colt 1860 Army and the M1911. I am always open for discussing a possible trade with something I have in inventory to obtain something I desire for my personal collection. If there is something you are looking for, please send me an email..

| Interesting Civil War Whitney Revolver - Early Whitney that appears to have been cleaned and then re-issued. Barrel has been shortened and a commerical site added. Serial number is #5892 which makes this the 4th Model Whitney. I can't find any information on the markings on the butt. I'm assuming that these are reissue markings.
